Problem: Good afternoon, I am attaching pictures of my problem that has several parts to ensure knowledge, but I am stuck on the last part. I was on a roll, but got my last problems wrong. Am I missing something simple or have I done it wrong entirely? Thank you for your help!
Problem: I need help calculating electrostatic forces and and fields due to point charges in various scenarios. For example: "A point charge of 10 µC is located at x = -3.0 cm, and a second point charge of -7 µC is located at x = +4.0 cm. Where should a third charge of +6.0 µC be placed so that the electric field at x = 0 is zero." I'm using the formula for an electric field E=k*q/r^2 and not getting answers correct at all.
Problem: Good afternoon! I may have several posts over the course of this weekend, but I am not sure of your hours during this holiday weekend. I have attached the following problem that I am stuck on. it has several parts, and I thought that it was asking for the literal cos of 60 degrees which I know as 1/2, but I multiplied the two and got the answer below and it is wrong. Please can someone point me in the right direction. Thank you!
Problem: Hey my name is Emily. I'm taking Dr. Bruce's English 1101 class and we are required to take at least one tutoring session this semester. Our first essay is supposed to be a critique of any restaurant we want to visit. I'm a non-traditional student and a bit out of practice with writing and I'd love some feedback on this essay to make sure it'll be OK for his class and hopefully get a good grade. I've heard he's a hard grader. Thanks for the help! Emily
