Nicole Thompson's Request (28 Nov 2018)

I started my rough draft for my argumentative essay and I did my works cited page. Could you please take a look at my works cited page for my errors?

Dear Nicole, Thank you for sending your Works Cited list to Athena. You can find a handout on MLA format at https://success.students.gsu.edu/ltc. Click on Handouts on the left, and then Grammar and Writing Handouts. For starters, make sure you list the author’s last name first. Some of your newspaper and magazine entries lack article titles. If you’re doing MLA 8, you don’t need to say “Web” any more, nor do you need to provide an access date if the source has a publication date. You don’t need to give a city of publication for books any more, but you do need to provide the publisher. Watch your capitalization. The list needs to be alphabetized with a hanging indent, and it’s not called “List”: just “Works Cited” centered on the line. Remember that every entry on the Works Cited must be mentioned in the paper: That’s what “Works Cited” means. I hope you find these comments useful. If you want more help, come into a lab to work with a tutor face to face, post specific questions here on Athena, or refer to our handouts. Good luck! If you have a moment, please cut and paste this address into your browser, and take our survey. Thanks! https://gsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6hzzM9kX7sy9aJf
